30-day return requests

You may request a return within 30 days after your order is delivered. Contact us at contact@elleryandvale.shop with your order number, proof of purchase and the item you would like to return.

For a preference or size return, the item must be unworn, unwashed and in the condition in which you received it, with attached tags where applicable. Please include the original packaging when reasonably possible. These condition requirements do not remove your rights concerning a defective, incorrect or misdescribed product.

Request instructions before sending

We aim to respond to your request within two business days. If the return is authorized, we will provide the return address and instructions. Do not send a return to the business address or another address without those instructions: the business contact address is not automatically a return-processing location.

Return shipping and fees

Preference, color or size: the customer pays the return shipping cost.
Confirmed defect, incorrect item or error by us: we cover the reasonable authorized return shipping cost or provide an appropriate alternative remedy.
Restocking fee: none.

Use a service that provides proof of dispatch and keep your receipt. Contact us if you need help arranging a return for a problem caused by us; do not incur an unexpected shipping charge without first obtaining instructions.

Damaged, incorrect or defective items

Contact us promptly after discovering the issue. Provide your order number and a description; clear photographs may help us review the item and packaging. We will assess the issue and discuss a refund, replacement or other appropriate remedy, subject to product availability and your rights under applicable law.

Inspection and refunds

We aim to inspect an authorized return within three business days after it arrives and notify you of the decision. If approved, we will initiate the refund to the original payment method within five business days after approval. Your bank, card issuer or other payment provider determines when the funds appear in your account; that timing is outside our control.

If a refund appears overdue, contact us so we can check its status. Any deduction or refusal relating to an item's condition will be explained and will remain subject to applicable consumer law. Original Standard Shipping is free, so no Standard Shipping charge is deducted from an approved refund.

Exchanges

Contact us about a different size or item. Availability is not guaranteed. We may arrange an authorized return followed by a separate order rather than a direct exchange.

Cancellations

Request cancellation or changes as soon as possible. We can accept them only if preparation or dispatch can still be stopped. Once an order has shipped, the return process applies.

Your statutory rights

This policy adds a commercial return process and does not exclude or restrict rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including any applicable cooling-off rights.
